Welcome to Queen’s Pride Week 2008

Queen’s Pride Week is a fun and fabulous arts and culture festival at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, celebrating sexual and gender diversity, histories, cultures, experiences, families and friends.

We are proud to present this annual event, bringing students, staff, faculty and community members together for a week of celebration. Queen’s Pride Week strives to be inclusive of all LGBTQ people and the allies who support them. Through a number of events that are designed to be fun, educational and great social opportunities, we hope to present a balanced glimpse of some of the sexual and gender identity issues at Queen’s.

Queen’s Pride Week is organized to celebrate the diversity of sexual and gender identities, specifically those of the Lesbian / Gay / Bisexual / Transgender / Transexual / Two-Spirited / Intersex / Asexual / Queer (LGBTTSIAQ) community. March 2007 saw the first Queen’s Pride week, making 2008 the second annual celebration - continuing this new tradition. Come out and enjoy another week full of social and educational events to celebrate the diversity of Queen’s campus and Kingston!
